Help Us Preserve Nature
Effective January 1st, 2022, all marine & park fees are subject to Bahamas 10% VAT applied at checkout.
Managing national parks is a huge but vital undertaking that we cannot do without your support.
Our goal is to create and maintain a national park benefit system that offers benefits to our community as special places for their enjoyment. That includes opportunities for recreation and entrepreneurship as well as support for tourism and education. Park user fees, directly support the management and conservation of our national parks, ensuring the preservation of their natural beauty and biodiversity for future generations. By paying these fees, visitors contribute to protecting critical habitats, supporting wildlife research, and maintaining the unique environments that make the Bahamas a global treasure.

Film / Photography
The BNT seeks to maintain a balance between public access to national parks and the protection of natural ecosystems. It is the BNT’s policy to allow commercial filming and photography consistent with protection and public enjoyment of park resources.
The BNT supports research projects and educational activities. Environmental films contribute to public understanding of the natural world, but a primary consideration is the potential for resource damage and disruption of normal public use and aesthetic values in our national parks.
Commercial, non-profit, documentary, promotional, or educational project organisers must obtain a permit from the BNT to film or take still photographs (using models, sets or props) within national parks. Permits are not required when visitors are engaged in filming/photography intended for their personal use and enjoyment. The use of aircraft and helicopters is restricted and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
