Why We Focus On Youth

Creating the caretakers of tomorrow
Lucayan NP - Gold Rock Creek (5) (1)

We believe that Education is the Key to Good Environmental Stewardship.

Education program participants have multiple opportunities to participate in transforming and engaging learning experiences that promote stewardship. National parks act as optimal classrooms for anyone wanting to learn about nature.

Our Education Programs

DISCOVERY CLUB

We’re passionate about inspiring and educating Bahamian children to become knowledgeable environmental stewards through fun, conservation-based classroom lessons, hands-on activities and field trips.

ECO TOURS

Get out and explore your parks! With a guided tour of a national park, you can discover the magic of these special places... and maybe even a boa or two.

OUTREACH

Our outreach initiatives are designed to educate the public about national parks and biodiversity. After all, many hands make the load of environmental conservation light.

PARKS PAL

Parks Pal is a program in partnership with Bahamas Fast Ferries that offers large groups, especially youth (100+ persons), tours of the islands they service to (e.g. Abaco, Eleuthera, Andros, etc.).

SUMMER CAMPS

Our summer camps immerse children in outdoor experiences that encourage learning and environmental stewardship.
