Bahamas National Trust Announces Updated Park Entrance Fees to Support Conservation and Visitor Experience

NASSAU, THE BAHAMAS — The Bahamas National Trust (BNT) has announced updates to park entrance fees across its national park system, effective July 1, 2026. These updates are part of a strategic effort to align with regional benchmarks and industry standards, while strengthening support for conservation initiatives, park maintenance, and visitor experience.

The revised fee structure introduces a more standardized approach across both terrestrial and marine parks, ensuring consistency in how visitors access and experience these protected natural spaces.

In addition to updated entrance fees, BNT is introducing new pass options designed to provide greater flexibility for visitors. Annual Park Passes will allow unlimited access to a selected park for one year, while Multi-Park Passes will provide access to multiple parks on a single island, available as both daily and annual options.

Supporting Conservation and Sustainability

Revenue generated from park entrance fees directly supports the protection and upkeep of The Bahamas’ national parks. This includes:

  • Conservation efforts to protect native species, ecosystems, and biodiversity
  • Maintenance of park infrastructure, including trails, signage, and visitor facilities
  • Enhancements to visitor experience, improving accessibility, safety, and overall enjoyment
  • Environmental education programs that engage communities, students, and visitors

“These updates reflect our continued commitment to protecting The Bahamas’ natural treasures while ensuring that our parks remain accessible, well-maintained, and sustainable for future generations,” said Lakeshia Anderson-Rolle, Executive Director of the Bahamas National Trust.

Commitment to a Stronger National Park System

The updated fee structure is designed to support the long-term sustainability of the national park system, while reinforcing the value of these natural spaces as destinations for recreation, education, and exploration.

BNT remains committed to providing meaningful and accessible experiences within its parks, while advancing its mission to conserve and protect The Bahamas’ unique natural environment.

BNT Members will continue to enjoy free access to all national parks as part of their membership benefits.
