The Wine and Art Festival (W&A) is the premier Art and Culture festival in The Bahamas happening for now 3 decades. It’s a celebration dedicated to showcasing international wines, exposing the diversity in local cuisine, celebrating arts and providing a platform for cultural expression and entertainment in The Bahamas. After a 2-year hiatus, W&A is back and better than ever before. This year’s event, which is the 30th anniversary, will bring the same iconic food and beverage experience that attendees have grown to love while introducing some new experiences.
This year’s festival will feature over 40 different artists and vendors, who will be selling original art pieces, creative crafts and local products. Partnering with The BNT for another year, Commonwealth Brewery and 700 Wines and Spirits will be showcasing an incredible array of wines and beverages. They will be featuring over 60 wines from different parts of the world, luxury champagne brands in The VIP Champagne Lounge, and popular beer brands at the Heineken Beer Garden After Party.
There will be a lot of food options and treats on sale from several local vendors and The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism is partnering with us once again, to feature a celebrity chef who will be making tasty dishes on-site for attendees to sample.
We will also have several educational classes and workshops that attendees can sign up for, including sessions from Wine experts teaching us how to pair wines with different types of foods.
