Eric’s Final Farewell Event is a celebration of longtime BNT Executive Director Eric Carey’s contributions to conservation in The Bahamas and around the world.
For the past 15 years Eric has been at the helm of the BNT, advancing its mission of managing national parks and preserving our future. Some of Eric’s proudest accomplishments include growing the BNT from just 10 people to over 80 staff, raising over $60 million dollars for the organisation during his tenure, leading the charge to protect iconic Bahamian wildlife, and dramatically increasing the conservation leadership capacity in The Bahamas.
During his journey at the BNT, Eric has received tremendous support from many BNT donors, members, partners, and friends. On December 17th, we’ll all be coming together to celebrate Eric and his time at the BNT as he prepares to leave the organisation on December 31st, 2022.
