Tour National Parks As A Class

With over 2 million acres of pristine Bahamian land and sea protected, the Bahamas National Trust encourages schools to take advantage of the wealth of knowledge to be experienced within them.

The National Park Experience program offers school groups an exploration and activity specially tailored for each grade level. These activities are designed to complement aspects of the national science curriculum established by the Ministry of Education. All National Park Experiences include a brief introduction to the Bahamas National Trust’s missions, goals and successes and a tour of the park where the activity is held.

Bringing their classroom lessons to life, this program educates and inspires students by reinforcing science and social studies content from the classroom to the outdoors.
