King of the Conch Fest

On November 11th, the first annual King of the Conch Fest will be held at Montague Beach to celebrate this incredible cultural icon, the Queen Conch. The festival is a competition and family affair where the proceeds will go towards Hurricane Irma relief efforts via the HeadKnowles group. Organizers of the festival are also partnering with The Bahamas National Conchservation Campaign so that education about conch as a species and the importance of conserving this valuable resource can be represented at such a large event.
